C-JeS Entertainment has responded regarding a fraud?accusation against JYJ’s Junsu last December,?Kpop Herald?reported.
The agency stated: “Junsu is not involved in the hotel business, so he has nothing to do with the recent development of the case.”
Junsu was accused of not paying back the construction cost of a hotel by two Korean constructors. These two constructors had built the luxurious Toscana Hotel on Jeju Island. They claimed that Junsu had borrowed 5 billion won ($4.5 million) from them to pay bank loans and that they even had the singer’s promissory note to pay them back by September 2015.
However in a press release, the hotel spokesman revealed that: “We have now secured solid evidence that the two companies charged us double the amount of the construction expenses.”
An investigation is scheduled to be launched into the case soon.
